Senator Thomas “Tommy” A. Morrison is a senator in the 34th Guam Legislature and  serves as the Assistant Minority Leader.  Tommy is no stranger to public service, having served in leadership positions with the Executive Branch of the Government of Guam.  Prior to becoming a senator, Tommy was the Director of the Bureau of Statistics and Plans, Executive Director of the Guam Contractors License Board, and Director and Deputy Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation.


Senator Morrison is a long resident of the  village of Umatac, is a proud graduate of Guam’s public school system, and earned a Political Science degree from the University of Guam. Senator Morrison is bonded to core priorities of preserving our Chamorro culture and promoting  our heritage. In partnership with many leaders, Tommy advocates to streamline government mandates and deliver enhanced customer service to the community through advanced technology.


As a multi-sport athlete, Senator Morrison is centered on restoring youth programs at the village level in order to provide positive life experiences for Guam’s next generation of leaders.  He is actively pursuing the establishment of youth programs within each village to provide a safe environment, conducive to  learning through the establishment of after-school activities, cultural immersion programs, and youth sports.


Tommy is married to Stephanie Campos who is an elementary teacher with Guam’s public schools, together they have three children; Gage, Jewel, and Thomas II.
