Protecting Guam’s Natural Resources

Dec.10.2015

Thank you Mr. Bruce Kloppenburg, Mr. David Tydingco and the leadership team of Guam’s natural resources community for inviting me and my colleagues to see first-hand the serious erosion issues facing our southern villages – particularly the rivers that lead to Talofofo Bay. Moving forward, we must all take part in helping to plant trees along these rivers, promote hunting practices that are legal, safe, and environmentally appropriate, and take pride and responsibility of Guam’s natural resources. By not doing so, we will leave behind a dangerous and unhealthy environment for future generations – as well Guam’s main economic industry.
